Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in roadway maintenance or related work.
• Substitutions for minimum qualifications allowed for education or training.
• Ability to drive a state vehicle and operate maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule daily work assignments for a transportation maintenance crew.
• Assist in administration of the maintenance section and coordinate resources.
• Estimate materials and equipment required for assignments and track usage.
• Inspect roads and report issues to supervisors; supervise contractors as needed.
• Maintain records of materials, equipment, and employee time sheets.
