Job summary

Humana is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead a safety-first team of drivers and clerical staff. You will coach and train personnel, ensure DOT compliance, and optimize delivery operations while maintaining high accuracy and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee interviews, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed, promoting engagement and collaboration across the Transportation department.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of transportation/delivery operations and safety policies.
• Experience leading a team in transportation or warehouse settings.
• Familiarity with DOT requirements and regulatory basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to keep drivers, associates, customers, and the public injury-free.
• Coach and develop drivers and Transportation staff; address performance gaps.
• Ensure training on job duties, safety, and regulatory responsibilities.
• Direct supervision of transportation and clerical staff; drive engagement and retention.
• Monitor goals, analyze issues in deliveries, and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Schedule shifts and oversee driver qualification files; conduct safety meetings.
