Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 4-6 years of transportation experience including in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with operations of computerized fleet management systems.
• Supervisory/leadership experience in a transportation setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff including staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Oversees day-to-day administration of delivery function, including expenses, payroll, and reports, using fleet management software.
• Coordinates with Warehouse Manager to maximize efficiency of operations.
• Schedules truck deliveries and routing, including backhauls, and ensures route profitability and DOT compliance.
• Maintains driver records, DOT logs, and safety-related data; performs related duties as assigned.
