Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to manage all aspects of the transportation function in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. You will oversee staffing, routing, safety, and DOT compliance to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.

The role requires supervising teams, coordinating with warehousing, and maintaining driver records and expenses. A focus on efficiency and safety will drive daily decisions and route optimization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 4-6 years of transportation experience with in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with operations of computerized fleet management systems.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff, including staffing, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Oversees daily delivery operations, payroll, expense reports, and route optimization.
• Coordinates with Warehouse Manager to maximize efficiency.
• Schedules deliveries and routing, manages equipment maintenance and DOT compliance.
• Maintains driver records and DOT logs, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
