Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee driver staff, ensure safe, timely deliveries, and enforce DOT compliance. You will monitor logs, coach associates, and coordinate with the Transportation/Operations Manager on daily tasks and route efficiency.

Ideal candidates have CDL experience, supervisory background, and familiarity with fleet management systems to optimize operations and safety across our delivery network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years in transportation or related field with knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience operating computerized fleet management systems.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• CDL Class A certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train drivers; manage staffing, coaching, evaluation and scheduling.
• Assist in day-to-day admin of transportation and delivery, including payroll and logs.
• Ensure DOT compliance, safety checks, and proper use of safety equipment.
• Monitor driver paperwork: invoices, trip reports, DVIRs, logs, and accident reports.
• Coordinate truck, tractor and trailer maintenance and routing to minimize costs.
