Job summary

South Puget Intertribal Planning Agency seeks a Transportation Activities & Events Assistant to support the Workforce Development Program in Tacoma, WA. You will provide safe, on-time driving, coordinate deliveries, and build relationships with clients, vendors, SPIPA staff and partners across several counties.

Responsibilities include planning routes, maintaining vehicle schedules and logs, assisting with events and purchasing, and ensuring confidentiality and high customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance.
• 2+ years driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, dependable, on-time driving for WFD and SPIPA.
• Coordinate deliveries with clients, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain transportation schedules and mileage logs.
• Assist with planning routes and vehicle maintenance coordination.
• Support events and purchase processing as needed.
