WSP is seeking a Transportation Director/Local Business Lead for the South Puget Sound geography, based in Tacoma. The role leads the transportation practice in the Mountain Pacific Region and works with WSDOT, Pierce County, and City of Tacoma to expand services.

The position requires strong leadership, business development, and client engagement skills to deliver integrated solutions across WSP’s disciplines. You will guide strategic growth while upholding safety and ethics standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in A/E/C with transportation focus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Planning, Business, or related discipline.
• Proven leadership, accountability, and growth mindset.
• Ability to innovate client and employee engagement approaches.
• Strong business acumen and process improvement capability.
• Established local client relationships and industry contacts.
• Commitment to internal/external client service and ethics.
