Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. invites you to join our Transportation service group for the 2027 Summer internship season. As an Engineering Intern, you will assist with roadway and intersection design layouts, traffic counting, and plan production for roadway projects, while also supporting calculations and site visits.

You will gain exposure in office plan reviews, quantity calculations, and cost estimates based on workload. Relocation or housing are not included, and visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Selected candidates will be enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA; preferred 3.2 or above.
• Sophomore or higher with coursework in surveying and AutoCAD drafting.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist civil engineering projects with planning and design tasks.
• Help prepare reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Assist with construction observation, staking, and administration duties.
• Support design calculations and review shop drawings when needed.
