CDM Smith is seeking a Civil or Transportation Engineering Intern to join our Transportation team in the Boston area. You will work with a dynamic group of engineers on public, federal, and industrial projects, researching, compiling and examining transportation data, and supporting studies with focus on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and CAD drafting.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation or Civil Engineering or a related field,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Researching, compiling and examining transportation data.
• Support Transportation Engineering studies with focus on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and CAD drafting.
• Perform routine engineering calculations and analyses under supervision, proofreading and copying technical and non-technical reports and assisting staff with various projects and field assignments.
