Job summary

McCormick Taylor is seeking bright and motivated Interns to dive into real-world civil engineering projects across our office network. We welcome students looking for flexible schedules (full or part-time) to balance coursework while gaining hands-on experience in roadway design and infrastructure projects.

As an intern, you will collaborate with engineers and project managers, assist with CAD work in MicroStation/AutoCAD, and contribute to various roadway improvements, ADA designs, and site

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interface with all levels of personnel and management.
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers.
• Expose yourself to a variety of engineering challenges in your discipline.
• Assist with CAD work using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Contribute to roadway improvements, intersection design, ADA design, bicycle facilities, site improvements, transit facilities, and field visits/inspections.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and design tasks.
