Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Civil or Transportation Engineering Intern to join our team in Nashville. You will work with a dynamic group of engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, supporting transportation data analysis and design tasks.

The position involves researching data, assisting with PS&E design and CAD work, and performing routine engineering calculations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Researching, compiling and examining a variety of transportation data.
• Supporting Transportation Engineering studies with a focus on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and computer aided design and drafting.
• Performing routine functions such as engineering calculations and analyses under supervision, proofreading and copying technical and non-technical reports and assisting staff with projects and field assignments.
