Job summary

McCormick Taylor, Inc. is seeking bright and motivated interns for our Transportation portfolio. Students ready to dive in and contribute to roadway and design projects will gain hands-on experience under experienced engineers and project managers.

This internship offers flexibility in full-time or part-time schedules based on course load, with opportunities across multiple office locations. You will work on a variety of civil engineering tasks, CAD design, and site visits while developing

Qualifications

Currently enrolled and working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to interface with all levels of personnel and management.
Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

Responsibilities

Work with experienced engineers and project managers.
Assist with roadway improvements, intersection design, ADA design, and related projects.
Gain exposure to highway engineering software including CAD.
Participate in field visits and inspections.
Perform basic engineering calculations and design tasks.
