CDM Smith is seeking a Civil or Transportation Engineering Intern to join our Transportation team in Harrisburg, PA. You will work with a dynamic group on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, gaining hands-on experience in roadway PS&E design and environmental and schematic work.

As an intern or co-op, you will perform engineering calculations, review and copy reports, and assist staff on field assignments. 50% travel is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Researching, compiling and examining transportation data.
• Supporting Transportation Engineering studies with a focus on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and CAD.
• Performing routine functions under supervision, including engineering calculations and analyses, proofreading reports and assisting staff with projects.
