Job summary

HDR is seeking a Highway/Roads Engineer to join our Bend, Oregon team. You will work under the direction of a Project Manager to develop urban and rural highway projects and supervise CAD Designers.

You will guide design from feasibility through construction and may take on project management duties with client interaction. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of roadway design experience, a PE or P.Eng license, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• License required: PE or P.Eng recognized by licensing board for location.
• Experience in roadway engineering design with urban and rural interchanges, traffic management and transportation planning.
• Hands-on experience with Highways and Roads CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed roadway/highway designs under a Project Manager.
• Oversee CAD Designers and EITs.
• Contribute from feasibility to final design and construction phase.
• Interact with clients as needed and participate in project management duties.
