Job summary

HDR is seeking a Highway/Roads Engineer to lead the engineering development of urban and rural roadway projects within HDR's Transportation Business Group. You will oversee CAD Designers and prepare detailed roadway designs under the direction of a Project Manager.

The role requires a PE license, 3+ years in roadway design, and hands-on experience with Bentley/Autodesk CAD tools, MS Office, and effective communication and organization.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Hands-on experience with highway design CAD tools and modeling.
• Experience in urban and rural highway interchanges and traffic planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a technical role on urban and rural roadway projects under a Project Manager.
• Oversee CAD Designers and possibly other EITs.
• Prepare detailed roadway and highway designs.
• Participate from site feasibility to final design and construction.
• Potentially assume project management duties and client interaction.
