Horner & Shifrin, a civil engineering firm, seeks a Civil Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah. You'll develop detailed PS&E packages and estimates for transportation projects.

Prepare quality 3D models for design used in construction and work with municipal, county and state agencies as part of a project team. A BS in Civil Engineering and strong communication skills are required; proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred, plus a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with MicroStation, PowerGeoPAK SS4/OpenRoads Designer, or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check.

Responsabilidades

• Work under a licensed engineer.
• Develop PS&E (plans, specs, and estimates).
• Prepare quality 3D models for design for construction phase.
• Team-based delivery of transportation engineering services for municipal, county and state agencies.
• Assist in reports and feasibility studies.
• Complete assigned tasks within a project.
