Job summary

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. seeks an entry-level Civil Engineer to support our Transportation business unit. You will assist with PS&E development and create 3D models for construction and client use, collaborating on municipal and state projects with a licensed engineer.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering and 0–2 years of experience; EIT is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and civil design tools like MicroStation/OpenRoads is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Engineering in Training certification preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience or entry level.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) for transportation projects.
• Prepare quality 3D models for design used in construction.
• Work with a team to deliver municipal, county and state transportation services.
• Assist in reports and feasibility studies.
• Complete tasks within project timelines.
