Job summary

Horner & Shifrin is seeking an entry-level Engineer to join its Transportation business unit. This full-time position requires 0-2 years of experience and provides exposure to municipal, county and state transportation projects.

You will work under a licensed engineer, develop PS&E, prepare 3D models, and assist in reports and feasibility studies, contributing to a collaborative team that values growth, innovation, and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Knowledge of civil design software preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop PS&E under supervision by a licensed engineer.
• Prepare quality 3D models for design to be used in construction phases.
• Work with team on transportation engineering services for municipal, county and state agencies.
• Assist in preparing reports and feasibility studies.
• Complete assigned tasks within project timelines.
