Job summary

URC Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in Salt Lake City seeks a Transportation Engineer to lead street and highway design projects, using Microstation and OpenRoads Designer. You will collaborate with designers, PMs, and subconsultants on Utah projects and regional opportunities.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Utah PE license or progress toward it within six months, and 4–7 years of highway design experience. Salary: $83,000–$120,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Utah PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4–7 years of experience in street/highway design per regulations.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers and technicians.
• Background in highway design is helpful.
• Experience CAD using Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.

• Primarily work on projects in Utah with opportunities to support regional projects.
• Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Utah Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4–7 years of experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations.
• Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
• Background in highway design will be helpful.
• Experience in CADD utilizing Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.

Salary: $83,000 - $120,000 (annual)
