Job summary

Fehr & Peers seeks a Transportation Engineer or Planner with 2–4 years of experience. You will build on a strong technical foundation, assume greater ownership, and mentor others as you contribute to a broad mix of planning and engineering projects.

You’ll lead tasks, manage projects, and interact with clients while growing toward project management responsibilities within our collaborative, mentorship‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in transportation planning or engineering.
• Experience applying transportation analysis techniques with increasing independence.
• Openness to mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead tasks and manage projects, including coordinating scope, schedule, and budget.
• Apply standard and intermediate analytical techniques independently, with guidance.
• Prepare clear, well-organized technical reports, memos, and presentations.
• Participate in and lead client meetings and support relationship development.
