Job summary

Fehr & Peers is seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer or Planner to build a strong foundation by applying standard techniques under guidance from experienced staff. You’ll gain experience across transportation planning, traffic operations, and design on a variety of projects from concept through construction-ready documents.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, presenting to teams and stakeholders, and supporting project coordination while learning new tools and technologies.

• Experience can come from internships, employment, coursework, research, student organizations, volunteer activities, or other relevant experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct transportation analysis and prepare reports, memos, and other technical deliverables
• Participate in meetings, including preparing presentations and public outreach materials
• Support project coordination and management activities
• Engage with professional organizations and industry activities
• Conduct site visits and collect field data
• Explore opportunities to contribute to Fehr & Peers internal Research and Development program
• Embrace opportunities to learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and ways of working that enhance day-to-day work, while maintaining professional judgment, critical thinking, and accountability for results
