Fehr & Peers in Oakland seeks a Transportation Engineer or Planner with 2-4 years of experience to grow from task execution to leading approaches and mentoring others. You will work on planning and engineering projects, building technical depth and developing project management skills.

You'll contribute to client meetings, collaborate across teams, and advance in an environment that supports mentorship, initiative, and professional growth. Strong communication is essential.

Formación

• 2-4 years of experience in transportation planning or engineering.
• Degree in transportation, civil, electrical engineering, urban planning, or related field.
• Experience applying transportation analysis techniques with increasing independence.
• Familiarity with transportation planning, traffic engineering, design, complete streets, operations or travel demand modeling.
• Proficiency with GIS, CAD, and traffic analysis software.

Responsabilidades

• Lead tasks and manage projects, coordinating scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare clear, well-organized technical reports, memos, and presentations.
• Participate in and lead client meetings and support relationship development.
• Mentor entry-level staff and interns and support business development initiatives.
• Balance multiple assignments while managing workload effectively.
