Job summary

Halff is seeking a Transportation Intern for our Houston, TX office to support the Transportation team in civil design projects. The internship runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027, with full-time hours (40 hours/week) and an hourly wage.

The intern will assist with design, drafting, planning, and cost estimates under the guidance of a Professional Engineer. Applicants are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent, demonstrating strong

Responsibilities

• Assist in transportation design under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Help prepare plans, specs, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Assist with CAD drafting work and calculations.
• Support permit applications and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
