Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward to lead the definition, governance, and reuse of data across our Transportation Business Group. This role focuses on coordinating subject matter experts and technical authorities to establish consistent data standards and enable superior project delivery.

Embedded in the Transportation BG, this leadership position drives data fluency, adoption of standards, and collaboration with Enterprise Data teams to support analytics, automation, and AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Resources engineering industry.
• Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers.
• Committed to quality, improvement, HDR values.
• Active participant of HDR’s employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Establish SME network across Transportation BG to define technical standards and ensure alignment to data practices.
• Develop and maintain business-aligned data definitions supporting structured models, reporting, automation, and AI use cases.
• Use your network to build alignment around data processes, priority, and use.
