Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transportation Data Steward to lead data governance across the Transportation Business Group. You will define data terminology, align practices with enterprise standards, and enable data reuse to improve delivery outcomes across projects.

Embedded in the Transportation BG, this leadership role focuses on collaboration with SMEs and technical authorities to shape how work gets done, extend data influence, and empower teams to deliver with trusted data for analytics, automation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of strategic leadership experience focused on growing and leading teams in change management.
• Fifteen years of experience providing diverse data-centric solutions and services.

Responsibilities

• Define technical standards across Transportation BG and align with enterprise expectations.
• Develop and maintain data definitions for engineering and technical terms to support structured data models.
• Use your network to build alignment around data processes, priority and use.
• Promote consistent, responsible use of data including access, quality, and reuse.
• Support governance of externally sourced datasets and lifecycle considerations.
