Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCIs) at varying levels to contribute to projects across Pennsylvania. You will review drawings, perform field measurements, and inspect work sites to ensure quality, safety, and compliance on roadways, bridges, interchanges, and toll plazas.

We value teamwork and hands-on inspection experience, with opportunities across multiple transportation projects, from design through construction and occupancy, in a collaborative, safety-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects.
• PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience.
• Current NICET Level 2 or higher, or NECEPT Asphalt, or PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certification.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to prepare for the inspection
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation
• Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup
• Inspect erosion control devices, ensure they are maintained and compliant with permits
• Monitor and record materials certifications in accordance with the client’s procedures
