Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCI) to contribute to roadway and bridge projects across Pennsylvania, with duties from inspection to documentation. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and safety requirements in live construction environments.

Ideal candidates have a background in road and bridge inspection, with at least one year of field-experience and relevant PennDOT/Nep certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience accepted.
• Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway/bridge projects.
• PennDOT/Turnpike experience required.
• NICET Level 2 or higher, NECEPT Asphalt, or PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to prepare for the inspection.
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation.
• Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup.
• Inspect erosion control devices and ensure compliance with permits.
• Monitor and record materials certifications per client procedures.
