Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCIs) to support projects across Pennsylvania, including roadways, bridges, interchanges, and toll plazas. We provide expert consulting from design to construction.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of inspection experience on major roadway or bridge projects, with PennDOT/Turnpike familiarity and NICET NECEPT certifications or equivalent. This full-time opportunity offers challenging work with a leading engineering firm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience (may substitute diploma).
• Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway/bridge projects.
• PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience preferred.
• Must have one of: NICET Level 2 or higher, NECEPT Asphalt, or PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certification.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to prepare for inspection.
• Conduct field measurements to establish pay item quantities.
• Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup.
• Inspect erosion control devices and ensure permits comply with requirements.
• Monitor and record materials certifications per client procedures.
