Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI) roles at varying levels to support projects across Pennsylvania. The team oversees roadways, structures, interchanges, and toll plazas, providing expert consulting from design to construction.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year of roadway/bridge inspection experience, PennDOT or Turnpike familiarity, and certifications such as NICET Level 2, NECEPT Asphalt, or PennDOT NECEPT Concrete. Travel is required for project assignments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience
• Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects
• Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience
• Must have a minimum of one of: NICET Level 2 or higher, NECEPT Asphalt, PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certification

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to prepare for the inspection
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation
• Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup
• Inspect erosion control devices, ensure they are maintained and that they are in compliance with applicable permits
• Monitor and record materials certifications in accordance with the client’s procedures
