Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI) roles across Pennsylvania to support roadways, bridges, and interchanges from inspection through project closeout.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of inspection experience on major roadway or bridge projects, and PennDOT/Turnpike experience; NICET Level 2 or NECEPT certifications are preferred. The position offers full-time/part-time opportunities with travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diploma.
• Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects.
• Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience.
• Must have a minimum of one of the following: - Current NICET Level 2 or higher,
• NECEPT Asphalt
• PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certification

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to prepare for the inspection.
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation.
• Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup.
• Inspect erosion control devices, ensure they are maintained and that they are in compliance with applicable permits.
• Monitor and record materials certifications in accordance with the client’s procedures
