Job summary

You will manage training, monitor safety performance, conduct incident investigations, and enforce compliance across staff and vendors. This role requires FMCSA knowledge, a CDL-A, and hands-on experience with HOS and ELDs, inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance requirements.
• Experience with Hours of Service (HOS) and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Proven ability to conduct investigations and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DOT and federal regulations across drivers and vendors.
• Oversee HOS compliance and monitor ELDs.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, maintenance records, and DOT audits.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Train drivers and staff on regulations and safety procedures.
• Support regulatory audits and maintain fleet compliance records.
• Assist with risk assessments and route planning for heavy/oversize loads.
