Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of public contact/customer service experience.
• Experience using computers to retrieve and input data.
• Completion of an associate's degree will substitute for one year of the public contact experience.

Responsibilities

• Explain and apply motor carrier laws, rules and procedures.
• Issue motor carrier permits and temporary passes.
• Review carrier information to determine required credentials.
• Assist customers with account setup and fee payment.
• Answer questions about commercial vehicle tax services.
• Work in a high-volume call center with long hours of desk work and phone use.
