Qualifications

• Three months experience collecting money and making change; associate’s degree can substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist public with registering vehicles and applying for permits.
• Provide excellent customer service while adhering to privacy laws.
• Explain complex rules and policies clearly to customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Produce licenses, permits, and ID cards as needed.
• Administer driver license tests and interpret vision test results.
• Occasionally support other DMV offices within the region.
