Heidelberg Materials is seeking an office-based professional in Lexington, VA to support transportation and logistics finances. You will partner with the SEFA accounting team on billing, payroll, and vendor payables, while auditing daily billing and processing driver payroll entries.

The role requires meticulous data entry, strong administrative skills, and effective collaboration with operations and accounting teams to ensure accurate, timely financial processing.

Qualifications

• Accurate payroll and invoice data handling.
• Experience in fast-paced administrative environments.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SEFA accounting on billing, payroll and vendor payables.
• Process and audit daily billing data.
• Process load payroll entries for company drivers.
• Review invoices from outside carriers.
• Collaborate with dispatch, operations and accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain transportation records and assist with reporting and audits.
