Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support dispatch, backhaul coordination, and clerical tasks in a warehouse setting. You will communicate with drivers, sales reps, and customers, update routes, and generate reports using Excel and transportation software.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and strong communication in a desk-based environment with occasional warehouse exposure. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in a warehouse admin

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls to resolve driver, sales representative and customer issues and communicate route updates.
• Create, update, and communicate reports and files using Excel and transportation software.
• Assist in backhaul and damages/shorts processes with paperwork and vendor coordination.
• Support scheduling of pick-ups and backhaul orders and communicate logistics information.
