Job summary

Stord Fulfillment, LLC is seeking a Transportation Area Manager in North Haven, CT. You will lead a warehouse team, manage sortation and dock operations, and drive on-time shipping in a high-volume facility.

The role requires 2–4 years of automation/WMS experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience with automated sortation systems and WMS in high-volume facilities.
• Previous leadership experience and the ability to manage carriers and drivers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Able to work evenings/weekends and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop warehouse associates and ops leads to meet daily goals.
• Own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping departments.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other Ops Leaders to drive results.
• Address issues, implement process improvements, and optimize workload planning.
• Utilize OMS/WMS tools to ensure orders are fulfilled to standards.
