Job summary
Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Transportation Analyst to manage Transportation Management processes including procurement, Freight Bill Audit & Payment, and Shipment Planning & Execution to meet customer requirements.
The role requires repeatable analysis, data reporting, and collaboration with customers and carriers to drive continuous cost and service improvements. You will support implementations and contribute to performance reviews.
Qualifications
- College degree/Technical Certification in Business, Logistics, Transportation or equivalent.
- 2+ years in industry related experience preferred.
- Experience in freight flow and Transportation Management preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office and internet for work tasks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor KPIs and perform root cause analysis using TM systems.
- Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly customer metrics and reports.
- Support data processing, reporting, and customer inquiries.
- Coordinate TM procurement activities for cost/service improvements.
- Support client quarterly and monthly reviews and present opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal SMEs and customers/carriers to implement solutions.
- Travel as required; participate in customer meetings and reviews.
