Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver financial and analytical support to senior management, group logistics managers, and logistics teams.

The role involves month-end close, forecasting, and performance analysis, with occasional travel to HQ locations. You will partner with operations and sales leaders to drive cost savings, provide training on financial tools, and ensure SOX controls are followed across the business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• 2+ to 4+ years in a corporate finance dept within a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm is required.
• 5+ years post MBA is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing including journal entries and variance explanations.
• Identify opportunities for cost/productivity improvements with Ops leaders.
• Forecasting, business planning and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff on policies and tools.
• Assist Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and audits as needed.
• Act as liaison with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
