Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver financial and analytical support to senior management, group logistics managers, and logistics managers. You will lead month-end close, forecast and plan, and drive branch performance analysis.

You will partner with DOO, DOS, and DOR to identify cost-saving opportunities, train BU staff on finance tools, and ensure SOX compliance. This role interfaces with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Related field is required.
• MBA preferred.
• 2–4 years in corporate Finance in Fortune 500 or consulting firm required.
• 5+ years post MBA preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office/Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing: handle journal entries, variance explanations, and GL research.
• Identify cost/productivity improvements with DOO, DOS, DOR.
• Forecasting, planning, and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to BU staff on policies and tools.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance through audits as needed.
• Liaise with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
