Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to direct Alternative Delivery projects within the Transportation Business Group. You will influence contract terms, align with HDR policies, and coordinate with Legal and Risk to drive large-scale transportation programs.

You’ll manage client relationships, mentor teams, and travel up to 50% as part of a matrixed HDR organization embracing an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Professional engineering registration (PE) required.
• Minimum 10 years in related field with large civil infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of AD projects.
• Drive approvals for Alternative Delivery in line with HDR policy and risk approvals.
• Collaborate with HDR staff, legal, and Risk Committee on contract terms.
• Engage with Transportation Leadership on upcoming AD projects and contractor relations.
• Lead and participate in HDR matrix across Areas, Regions and Market Sectors.
