Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a BSN or higher, have at least four years of nursing experience, and possess Texas RN licensure with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Four years nursing experience.
• RN - Texas State Licensure; must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days.
• BLS certification (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and facilitates peri-operative and post-transplant phases.
• Collaborates with inter-professional transplant team to ensure care continuity.
• Monitors patient progress and safety, communicating changes to the team.
• Provides patient and family education regarding transplant care and follow-up.
• Adheres to OPTN/UNOS policies and reporting requirements.
