Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is seeking a Clinical Transplant Coordinator to coordinate patient care across the transplant continuum on a multidisciplinary team. You will support pre- and post-transplant care, ensuring outcomes, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness while aligning with regulatory standards.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, MD RN license, 3 years of RN experience with critical care or 2 years bedside, and certification (CCTC or BMTCN) within 2

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and RN licensure in Maryland.
• 3 years RN experience required; 1 year in critical care preferred or 2 years adult bedside nursing.
• CCTC or BMTCN certification within 2 years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care delivery of transplant patients across pre- and post-transplant phases.
• Designs pre-transplant medical procedures and diagnostic testing for evaluation.
• Coordinates scheduling of post-transplant procedures, tests, and visits.
• Collects and reports health data including test results.
• Ensures patient safety and communicates risks to the team.
