Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to coordinate field construction, safety, cost, and scheduling on transmission and substations projects. This field role requires travel and a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will lead site teams, develop staffing plans, and work with EH&S to maintain a rigorous safety program while supporting project risk reviews and cost reporting. A senior level of experience is expected for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred, or relevant field experience.
• 10+ years construction supervisory experience required.
• OSHA Training certification.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates compliance with the schedule, safety, cost, and quality decisions with the Project Field Manager.
• Provides site construction teams the means, methods, and staffing to support Transmission and substations construction.
• Develops and maintains safety programs associated with Transmission Line Construction activities.
• Supports project proposals including staffing, equipment, and costs for estimate development.
• Reviews timesheets, quantity reports, and progress payment requests.
