Black & Veatch in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to coordinate field construction, safety, schedule, and cost on transmission and substation projects. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years construction supervisory experience required.
• OSHA Training required or equivalent.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field construction efforts and scheduling on the project.
• Ensure safety, schedule, cost, and quality targets are met.
• Develop and maintain construction procedures and QA programs.
• Support sourcing of tooling and equipment for transmission work.
• Interface with client and subcontractors to resolve issues.
