Job summary

Think Power Solutions is seeking a Transmission Construction Representative (TCR) to oversee contractor performance on electric transmission projects, including substations and upgrades. You will ensure work complies with design specifications, safety standards, and contractual terms while guiding field crews.

You will review engineering drawings, monitor progress, resolve issues, and mentor junior TCRs, applying broad knowledge of line, substation, and civil construction.Travel may be required

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant transmission line and substation work experience
• Associate’s degree in construction management or engineering is a plus
• Proficient with a computer, iPad and Microsoft Office products
• Must currently be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms
• Monitor safe completion of work in line with design specifications and safety standards
• Manage projects ranging from substation upgrades to new substations construction
• Identify issues that could impact timelines, quality, and safety
• Mentor and train junior Transmission Construction Representatives
• Interpret engineering drawings and guide their application in construction
