Job summary

Think Power Solutions is seeking a Transmission Construction Representative to oversee contractor performance on electric transmission projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and design specifications are met across substations and line work.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of utility experience, a relevant degree, and strong leadership. The role requires travel, rigorous quality control, and mentoring junior TCRs as you drive compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management or engineering is a plus.
• 6+ years of relevant transmission line and substation work experience required.
• Experience in the utility industry is highly preferred.
• Compliance management experience is a plus.
• Proficient at using a computer, iPad and Microsoft Office products.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must currently be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance on electric transmission projects.
• Ensure safety, on-schedule delivery, and compliance with design specifications.
• Manage substation upgrades and construction of new substations.
• Identify issues that could affect timelines, quality, or safety.
• Mentor and train lower-level Transmission Construction Representatives.
• Interpret engineering drawings and guide their application in construction.
• Ensure compliance with Owner construction standards and safety terms.
