Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation’s Transmission division seeks a Transmission Project Manager to oversee electrical transmission construction projects from initiation through closeout in Denton, TX. You will plan, schedule, budget, and execute projects, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent PM experience in construction/utilities.
• Experience with PM tools: Smartsheet, Power BI, Excel, MS Project, Primavera.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle, cost management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects per scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead development of project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with coordinators on procurement, submittals, and construction needs.
• Monitor progress through field visits and regular updates.
• Oversee change orders and billing in line with customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for deliverables.
• Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Identify risks, issues, and variances; assist with mitigation and recovery plans.
• Facilitate progress meetings and effective stakeholder communication.
• Assist in project closeout, demobilization, and lessons learned.
• Other duties as assigned.
