Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking a Transmission Project Manager I to oversee transmission construction projects from initiation through closeout, supporting planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role collaborates with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget; requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of project coordination or management experience in construction or utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Construction Management, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• 1–3 years of project coordination or management experience in construction, utilities, or infrastructure.
• Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Power BI, Excel, MS Project, Primavera) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects per scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead development of project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Coordinate material and subcontractor procurement; handle engineering submittals and construction requirements.
• Monitor progress via field visits and regular updates; track changes and change orders for billing.
• Ensure project deliverables align with design and operational requirements; manage docs like contracts, COs, RFIs, minutes.
• Facilitate risk reporting and mitigation; lead progress meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Assist in project closeout, demobilization, and capturing lessons learned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
