Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of large-scale transmission and substation capital projects from concept through commissioning. You will oversee scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, while mentoring PM staff and driving continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7–10 years of multi-disciplinary project management experience in utility infrastructure, with PMP preferred and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Physical Sciences, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive project management experience in electric utility, transmission, substation, energy, infrastructure, or heavy construction.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership and supporting strategic decisions.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large-scale transmission and substation projects.
• Maintain accountability for scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership through all project lifecycle phases from initiation to closeout.
• Develop recovery plans for project performance deviations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, earned value, and variance reporting.
• Engage executive leadership with portfolio updates and risk assessments.
• Mentor and coach project managers and coordinators.
• Champion safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
