Job summary

Primoris T&D is seeking a Transmission Project Manager I to oversee transmission construction projects from initiation through closeout. You will plan, schedule, budget, and execute projects while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The role collaborates with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget. The position involves office work with periodic field visits, travel to job sites, and close coordination with engineering,

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of project coordination or management experience in construction, utilities, or infrastructure.
• Experience with project management and analytical tools (Smartsheet, Power BI, Excel, MS Project, Primavera).
• Knowledge of construction lifecycle, progress tracking, and cost management principles.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of transmission construction projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and subcontractors; manage submittals and field requirements.
• Monitor progress with regular updates and field visits; report risks and variances.
